If you speak French or even studied it in your golden youth, formidable!!! You can help your student in a lot of ways. Encourage daily practice by engaging them in short conversations, learning a French song with them, watching a movie in French or reading a French comic book together. Of course you can also hone your own skills by joining them in online practice at Quizlet Duolingo or any of the bazillion other sites out there.
